Abstract

Objective: To establish the characteristics of postnatal growth and development of the organs of the immune system of the offspring obtained under conditions of chronic toxic effects on the mother's body. Material and methods: In accordance with the tasks set, the objects of the study were 82 (60) white laboratory female rats with an initial weight of 80-150 grams, which were in normal vivarium conditions. Results: Our studies show that inflammatory and destructive changes in the microvasculature and tissue structures are observed in the early periods (3-30 days) after long-term pesticide poisoning, and by the end of it (90 days later) the progression of the sclerotic changes in the microvasculature and atrophic processes in the medullary and cortical layer of the lymph nodules significantly increased compared with the control values, and the proportion of the cortical zone and the number of leukocytes in it decreased. Conclusions: During intoxication with the pesticide “Sumy-alpha”, deep vascular disorders appear which leads to the development of destructive changes in the wall of the thymus.
